Friendship Fund

Donate to the Friendship Fund

Kappa Alpha Theta’s Friendship Fund provides gifts to Thetas experiencing extreme financial hardship due to serious or terminal illness, job loss, natural disaster, and other devastating occurrences. Donations are traditionally collected at Founders Day.

Since established in 1926, the Friendship Fund has been a tangible demonstration of the love and concern we feel for one another. It is based on a beautiful, timeless idea—sisters supporting sisters. During a period of need, the care, love, and support demonstrated by a Friendship Fund gift has made all the difference to hundreds of Thetas.

The Denver Alumnae Chapter will be collecting donations between now and the end of January. We will combine all Friendship Fund contributions into one check to be mailed to the Fraternity after our annual Founders Day celebration. You do not need to attend our Founders Day event to make a donation.

The customary donation is $1 for every year you have been a member of Kappa Alpha Theta, but you may donate any amount. Whatever you give will help a sister in need.

Donations to the Friendship Fund are not tax-deductible.

To donate by check: Make your check payable to Kappa Alpha Theta, write “Friendship Fund” in the memo, and mail it to:

Sarah Hittner, VP Finance

To donate via Venmo: Send any amount to @DenverThetas and include “Friendship Fund” in the memo.
