Learn about the current challenges faced by Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), including how one local CASA program has adapted during the pandemic. This engaging and interactive virtual event will feature live presentations, video footage, and a Q&A session.
Speakers will include Josefina Raphael-Milliner and Andrea Tagtow with Advocates for Children (serving Arapahoe, Douglas, Elbert, and Lincoln counties) and Theta alumna Heidi Hoback, Beta Iota/Colorado, who has volunteered with Denver CASA since 2015.
If you would like to submit questions for the speakers before the event, please send them to Emmy Tran by Wednesday, January 6.

This program is being presented on the heels of our recent Home for the Holidays fundraiser, after which the Denver Alumnae Chapter donated over $1,400 to benefit CASA programs in Colorado. Since 1989, Kappa Alpha Theta has supported CASA to impact the lives of foster children. Over the years, Thetas have contributed millions of dollars and countless volunteer hours to advance CASA programs around the country.
